I've uncovered a dupe for the coveted Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush, that racks up at a third of the price of the original.

Plus, the shade I picked up covers three beauty bases in one.

The original Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes set hearts racing with their blush/highlight hybrid formula. Airy, lightweight and radiant. In short, they're dreamy. But the price tag definitely isn't - at £28 they're more than a little bank breaking.

This Max Factor Creme Puff dupe racks up at a much more palatable £8.99 and delivers the same finish. More dimensional than your usual blush, and with bags of glow. In the pan they're practically twins, with two colours colliding in the Hourglass trademark marbled rivers (a little bit poetic of me).

I went for the shade 'Nude Mauve' which matches up pretty well to Hourglass's Mood Exposure.

This baby buffs up beautifully in three different ways. Stippled into the apple of the cheeks for a bronzed blush application, worked under and over the cheekbones with a fluffy brush to gently contour and blended across eye lids and into the crease for a little something up top.

A genius little hybrid dupe.
