M&S has seriously upped it's fashion credentials.

Last month, I went along to the M&S LFW spin-off show put together to give the North a little flavour of the fashion festivities. Style director Belinda Earl [pictured above] was on hand to introduce the SS15 line, with options pulled together for the show as the best of 'Best of British'.

Belinda's pretty awesome. She's the driving force behind the brands new fashion focus, having previously engineered several success stories including Designers at Debenhams and the Jaeger rebrand.

She joined M&S in 2012, and boy has she made a mark.

There's still a strong presence of classic M&S - wearable, comfortable pieces aimed at late fourties plus - but then the old makes way for the new, with a heavy presence from the catwalks. Stand out pieces include a sheer black midi with geometric detail, the ultimate sports-luxe jumpsuit and a boxy, khaki jacket with statement lapels.  They're killing it with shoes, too. Clunky flats make way for mules, sandals, slingbacks and the perfect modern court.

I've put together a stream of my favourite looks from the show, but you can dive through the website to get the skinny on the rest of their SS15 offering.
