I'm a little bit in love. Meet the Classic St. Mawes. The ultimate cool-girl-grandad-watch. Trevor (the naughty photobombing pooch) loves it too.

Daniel Wellington watches are pretty special and there's a fun little story behind the brand. Their founder met a British man named Daniel Wellington whilst travelling and was inspired by his nature, class and the watches he wore on weathered navy straps. The watches were launched with a clean, thin design and interchangeable straps - inspired by Daniel.

Now they've become a blogger cult staple. They're effortless, wearable and combine beauty and function - a million miles from the blinged out watches that used to be everywhere (I'm looking at you, MK). I don't have the daintiest of wrists but the face is nice and big so it sits well without looking lost. I chuck it on literally every morning because - in case you haven't already guessed - it  goes with absolutely everything.

The interchangeable straps are a clever move. As well as various leather options, they have a range of  navy inspired striped straps that are named after different cities and are a steal at £25 a pop! I have my eye on the Glasgow strap as it's one of my fav places on our island.

They aren't cheap, but they're beautifully made. This baby is for life. What's more, the details make every penny worth it - right down to the gift box it turns up in.
